Consensus Summary

What owners say

Aggregated themes from hundreds of discussions across Reddit, Team-BHP, and direct owner reports.

Chassis & safety

Owners highlight the planted handling and 5-star BNCAP rating — it feels engineered, not assembled.

Service costs

Skoda service has improved with capped-price plans, but parts still cost more than Maruti/Hyundai equivalents.

1.0 TSI economy

The 1.0 TSI returns a genuine 14–16 km/l for most owners while still feeling eager.

Cabin width

Three abreast in the back is a squeeze, and rear AC performance in peak summer draws complaints.

Really love the 5-star gncap rating on the Kushaq. It makes the daily ownership experience so much better. Highly recommend it!

Excellent driving dynamics. Handling is sharp, steering is light in the city but weighs up nicely on the highway. High-speed stability is reassuring and gives lots of confidence.

The headlights throw is very poor. The white LED high beam looks fancy but has zero penetration in rainy or foggy conditions, making night highway driving quite scary.

The waiting period for the popular variants is ridiculous — dealers are quoting 4 months and forcing you to buy overpriced accessories and insurance from them to get early delivery.
